Better teaching starts with understanding how students learn.

Every educator has experienced the moment when a lesson that worked beautifully for one group falls flat with another.

The challenge isn't a lack of effort or expertise—it's that every student is different, arriving with varying experiences, strengths, challenges, and learning needs. Responding to that complexity requires constant instructional decision-making, often within the limits of a busy school day.

TeacherAtlas was created to make those decisions easier to navigate.

By combining subject-specific pedagogical expertise with thoughtfully applied AI, TeacherAtlas helps educators plan, adapt, and personalize instruction while keeping teachers firmly in control of the learning experience.

Why we built TeacherAtlas.

TeacherAtlas began with a simple observation: Teachers already know what effective instruction looks like, but often don’t have the time or resources to deliver it for every learner.

As AI became part of the conversation in education, many tools focused on generating lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom resources. Those capabilities can be valuable, but they don't address the deeper work of teaching. Strong instruction depends on understanding how knowledge develops, anticipating misconceptions, knowing when to revisit a concept, and recognizing when a student is ready to move forward.

That work is where TeacherAtlas begins.

Every recommendation is grounded in subject-specific pedagogy, learning progressions, and the professional judgment teachers bring to the classroom every day.

Our Approach

Technology should help teachers spend less time navigating complexity and more time supporting students.

TeacherAtlas is designed to:

  • Support individualized and differentiated learning

  • Strengthen instructional planning through subject-specific expertise

  • Help teachers make informed instructional decisions with greater confidence

  • Apply AI thoughtfully, transparently, and responsibly

  • Preserve teacher agency while creating better learning experiences for students

As TeacherAtlas grows beyond mathematics into additional subject areas, those principles will continue to guide every product we build.

Meet the Founder

Dr. Lina Sanchez Wall has spent her career helping educators strengthen teaching and learning.

As a classroom teacher, mathematics education specialist, researcher, and instructional leader, she has worked alongside educators navigating the realities of increasingly complex classrooms. Throughout that work, one idea has remained consistent: Meaningful innovation begins with strong pedagogy.

When AI began reshaping education, Lina saw an opportunity to build technology that reflected the way great teachers actually think and make decisions, rather than simply generating more content.

Today, TeacherAtlas continues to evolve through collaboration with educators, pilot partners, and educational leaders who share a commitment to thoughtful innovation and meaningful student learning.

Looking Ahead

TeacherAtlas is building more than a collection of educational tools.

We're creating a platform that helps educators navigate increasingly complex classrooms while fostering a community committed to improving teaching and learning together.

As our product suite expands across subject areas, our purpose remains the same: Supporting teachers with practical, research-informed tools that strengthen instruction and help every learner reach their potential.
